CalFresh is the new name for the Food Stamps Program in California. In most other states, this program – administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture – is now known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

CalFresh Pre-screening and Application Help

Many people are eligible for CalFresh but do not know that they qualify. Food Bank staff can help families learn more about the CalFresh Program and assist them in applying. Food Bank staff is also available to visit your community based organization to provide CalFresh prescreening and application assistance. Send us an email to schedule a visit from our outreach staff.
