The Food Bank Garden


We are committed to empowering community members to grow their own food. We have a demonstration garden at the Food Bank which will be featured in several cooking classes to encourage healthy choices from seed to table!

Additionally, we support efforts such as Plant a Row for the Hungry, which encourage gardeners to plant an extra row and donate the extra produce to hunger relief efforts.

We are also active on committees in Woodland and West Sacramento to promote starting community gardens. Please join in the conversation by submitting your feedback at the Community Gardens Survey.
