WAREHOUSE SORTING VOLUNTEER(S)
We have an immediate need for Warehouse Sorting Volunteers! Shifts are available Monday through Friday from 8:30am until 12:30pm. Volunteers must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and should expect to stand, lift and perform repetitive motion for the duration of the shift. Volunteer duties include sorting and bagging both packaged and fresh food items for distribution to those in need. If this sounds like a grand ol' time, please contact us!

WAREHOUSE DRIVER(S)
We have an immediate need for Warehouse Drivers to assist with weekly pick-ups and deliveries related to our food distribution programs. Volunteers must provide proof of a clean driving record and have a valid driver's license. A class B license, experience driving large vehicles, and experience operating forklifts are all bonuses, but not required. If you love life on the road, have a general knowledge of Yolo County, and take direction well, we'd love to have you! Shifts are available Monday through Friday from 8am until 2:30pm.
FRIDAY'S TABLE VOLUNTEER(S)
If you're an early riser, please join us as a Friday's Table Volunteer! This program is a weekly produce distribution that takes place at the Food Bank on Fridays from 7am-8am. Volunteers will assist staff with preparation, distribution of food, and clean-up. Volunteers should have the ability to stand for a few hours at a time and enjoy working outdoors. Friday's Table shifts are Fridays from 6:30am-8:30am.
EFAP VOLUNTEER(S)
Have a lot of heart but not a lot of time? This is the opportunity for you! EFAP (Emergency Food Assistance Program) is a food distribution that takes place at the Food Bank on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 10am. EFAP volunteers will be responsible for set up, ensuring that recipients sign in, distribution of food as directed, and clean up. EFAP Volunteers are needed on the fourth Wednesday of each month from 9am-11am.
MOVEABLE MARKET VOLUNTEER(S)
Want to get your nutrition on? Become a Moveable Market Volunteer! You'll help our Moveable Market team prepare bags of fresh produce, conduct research for the program's monthly newsletter, and travel to various sites throughout Yolo County to spread the word about good nutrition to low-income families. If you're great with people, can multi-task, and enjoy working outdoors, this is the opportunity for you! Spanish speaking is a plus but not required. Shifts are generally available Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm.
